A Simple, Yet Unforgettable Canadian Wedding

Posted in Inspiration

We saw this beautiful Canadian wedding spotlighted on 100 Layer Cake and just had to share it. How amazing is the bride’s Wai-Ching dress with the collage of ivories, whites and red toward the bottom!? Husband and wife photography duo, AMERIS, captured the day flawlessly, from head to toe. Minimal flowers let the beautiful outdoors of Victoria set the scene, as the couple chose a venue (The Fireside Grill) with great decor that allowed them to use their money creatively elsewhere. Armed with a hot glue gun, the bride made her own centerpieces by buying silk flowers, glass vases and yarn from a dollar store. She even made table card holders from fallen branches in the woods, which her father cut to insert blank business cards for the cards themselves. We adore their DIY details and hope you do too!
