Inspiration: Hippie & Biker Love

Posted in Inspiration, Maddy's Favorite Finds

This gorgeous, psychedelic shoot by Erin Hearts Court recently caught our attention onĀ Green Wedding Shoes. Melissa Elise Event Design & Styling coordinated a beautiful blend of hippie and biker cultures of the late 60s and early 70s, with a modern edge. From the textiles and handmade elements on the tablescapes to the cake display, which included a mix of patterned fabrics and rugs, this shoot is incredibly inspirational with its creative use of fabric.

The dress by Miss Tashina is stunning and flowy, a lovely match for an eclectic, bohemian bride. The jewelry pieces by Sweet Evie and Jenny Dayco couldn’t be more perfect when combined with the breezy dress.

The cake display, which was designed by Erica O’Brien Cake Design, had ripped strips of sheer fabric flowing in the wind, underneath handmade lanterns with bright fabrics and fringe trims. Perfection! If we were located anywhere near California, we’d be riding our motorcycles straight over to the Star Ranch, where all of the magic happened.
