We love the use of bright bold colors, especially since the couple chose a children’s museum as their venue (it just fits, doesn’t it?). From the bride’s sparkly shoes, to the paper airplane seating cards, to the colored glass on the tables and in the windows… everything about this wedding is fun and evokes a sense of happiness.

Alcohol-spiked gelees (that’s fancy jello) are a huge trend in wedding food right now. The recipe above caught our attention a few weeks ago, and we’ve been mixing test batches ever since (our friends aren’t complaining!). Whether they’re made with wine (like Martha’s, above), champagne, or liquor, your guests will be giddy to get their hands on them. Serve them on the patio during a summer wedding to cool everyone down, or line them up on the dessert bar on pretty cake plates. However you present them, they’re guaranteed to be a hit!

When couture resort wear hit the runway last year, there was only one thing on our minds… we need a vacation!

Valentino brought our favorite collection by far. With everything from suit separates to lacy dresses, his 2013 resort collection had us dreaming of honeymoons from Paris to Panama. The line features floral prints, sheer fabrics, and unexpected stripes. And there are plenty of bridal-white dresses… perfect for brides hosting weddings in tropical climates. Just imagine the floor length white gown making it’s way down the aisle at a Grecian wedding! Or the bright green pant suit strolling along the Seine.
